Choose your Camino with Arcos Learning Abroad this summer! Travel to the verdant and mountainous region of Galicia, Spain and walk one of the world's most sacred paths, the Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James.

Join us for a complete cultural immersion experience. Live with a homestay in Granada, the ancient city of the Moors, located in Spain's magical Andalusia region. All students take a 6 credit course taught by Dr. Lunden MacDonald titled "SPA 390C Place, Space, and the Creation of Community: Understanding Self and Europe through the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage". This is a multi-disciplinary course taught in English. Students have the option to enroll in an additional 3 credits of Spanish at any level.

Choose any set of summer dates for this 9 day Camino program. The Camino de Santiago, or the Way of St. James, is an ancient pilgrimage path dating back more than a thousand years with its destination as the shrine of the Apostle St. James. Experience the awe and wonder of this ancient trail.
Spend 24 days based out of Granada, Spain with excursions to Madrid, Cordoba, and the Mediterranean followed by 9 days on the Camino de Santiago. Program includes cultural activities, excursions and numerous guided visits.
Walk the iconic final 100 km of The Way passing through timeless villages. The program starts in Sarria and ends in Santiago de Compostela and the tomb of St. James. Guided tours in Santiago of the Cathedral. Pickup and drop-off in Madrid.
