Volunteer & Service Learning
During our semester and summer programs we provide volunteer and service learning opportunities. There is no better way to give back and develop a deeper cultural understanding than by doing volunteer work while abroad. Whether you decide to assist local elementary school students during after-school programming or work with migrants, you will not only better your Spanish, but also make lifelong friends along the way!
Human Rights & Social Justice
Social inequality in Oaxaca has made it a principal location for resistance movements. This is an opportunity to work towards promoting and human rights and social justice for marginalized communities.

An opportunity to work in educational projects with different sectors of Oaxacan society, indigenous rural communities, marginalized youth and university students. Projects with children, youth and adults.

Teaching assistant for English language learning
English teacher for children and adults from different backgrounds
Teaching assistant for different types of classes, e.g. art or computing
Mentor and support for students studying English or other subjects
